Bob Muncil

Here’s the bottom line; if being clean and sober wasn't monumentally better than the alternative I wouldn't have stayed with it. I am passionate about the recovery process and living life in an adventurous way. After a successful business career I knew that my next phase of life would be to help others experience what I have found; a rewarding and meaningful life in sobriety. I became a certified meditation instructor to bring a sensible meditation practice to people in addiction treatment. In my recovery journey I rediscovered my connection with nature and am able to immerse myself in my passion for fly fishing and travel. I see my life mission now as helping others maintain sustainable sobriety and find a meaningful way of life for themselves.

Joe O’Connor

I am a Recovery Coach Professional and Interventionist with 27 years of continuous sobriety and extensive experience supporting individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. My professional approach is informed by both lived experience and long-term engagement in recovery-oriented systems of care.

I began using substances in adolescence and developed an early awareness of the impact of addiction, though I lacked the resources to effectively address it at the time. With the support of others, I was able to access treatment and establish a sustained recovery program. This experience has provided me with a practical understanding of the recovery process, including the critical roles of accountability, structured support, and community engagement.

In my professional work, I focus on facilitating interventions, supporting clients in early recovery, and helping families navigate complex dynamics associated with substance use. I emphasize evidence-informed practices, clear communication, and the development of sustainable recovery plans tailored to each client’s needs. My approach integrates principles of boundary-setting, relapse prevention, and ongoing personal development.

In addition to my clinical support work, I bring over 30 years of experience managing a large family-owned business, which informs my ability to work effectively with high-functioning individuals, family systems, and complex organizational dynamics. I also have over a decade of board-level experience with an addiction treatment center, contributing to governance, program development, and strategic planning.
